Where to stay in City Center and Grainger Town
City Center and Grainger Town hotels & accommodations

Directly opposite the train station, so close to to the city centre and metro. There are some bars around, so it can get a bit noisy until late at night. On the 6th floor it didn't really bother us. There is no parking at the hotel, but a council car park is within 5-10 mins walk. Its, £7 per day, £3 on Sundays or £1.10/hour until 5pm when it becomes free. You can...

Great boutique hotel right in Newcastle city centre. Good value hotel which was spotless. No bar or restaurant during our stay due to refurbishment other wise no complaints. Some floors are not accessible directly via lift so had to carry bags down some stairs.

Stayed for 3 nights in junior suite, room was clean fully equipped with stove, micro and fridge with complete utensils. Large bed and comfortable. Shower bathroom is spacious. It was a pleasant stay. Hotel is strategically located in city center. However location at the moment is a little bit disturbed by construction, blocking some access by car to the hotel.

I booked a room at this hotel as a birthday treat and the visit was incredible from start to finish. We were greeted by lovely staff that were incredibly welcoming and upbeat, open to having a conversation which I loved, this is surprisingly rareally in my experience and it made us feel more at home. The room was amazing!! For booking a standard room we were expectin...

the hotel is on a busy road with ambulances passing quite frequently with sirens sounding, so not ideal for light sleepers. the secure car park was useful and there is a good bus service to the city centre. the room was clean and comfortable but with limited hanging space for clothes - just three hooks on back of door. not a problem for us as it was just a one-night ...

The hotel is just outside the main city centre, but within easy walk of it, I chose the room for the price but was amazed when I saw the condition of it, the room was spacious and immaculate, an easy 4*, the room was well equipped and in top condition, it looked brand new. The only thing I could say is that people were using it as somewhere to stay when going out o...

Check-in process was swift. Friendly staffs, big and clean room, comfortable bed and pillows, conveniently located near train station, walkable to city center (Eldon Square, St James Park, etc) and breakfast is provided. However the lifts at ground level were down throughout our stay due to other guest misuse the keycard access for the lifts. Overall, we enjoyed our st...

All staff friendly and considerate couldn’t be more helpful seeing that I had had a part knee 10 days earlier and my wife had a broken wrist in plaster room small but it was booked at last minute and last room available but nice and clean and tidy good Wi-fi

Stayed here for three days to explore the City, the hostel was clean and staff very friendly. Unfortunately the lift was out of order while we were there, not a problem for me and my son as we had light luggage and both able bodied. Our room was easy to get to and a nice size, we had two sets of bunk beds for the two of us having requested a twin room with ensuite. It ...
