"Stayed here for three days to explore the City, the hostel was clean and staff very friendly. Unfortunately the lift was out of order while we were there, not a problem for me and my son as we had light luggage and both able bodied. Our room was easy to get to and a nice size, we had two sets of bunk beds for the two of us having requested a twin room with ensuite. It was lovely having our own shower and toilet although it was a very small wet room and was a bit tired, especially the shower, with hooks missing on the curtain and rust where the shower attached to the wall. I appreciated that each bunk had its own lights and phone charging points, and the room had a good sized tv which my soon very much enjoyed. The mattresses weren't that comfy, you could feel the springs through it, but we resolved this by using the spare duvets as mattress toppers. We didn't take the breakfast rate as there was no cooked breakfast on offer, but had a drink in the cafe/bar which had a great ambience."

"Directly opposite the train station, so close to to the city centre and metro. There are some bars around, so it can get a bit noisy until late at night. On the 6th floor it didn't really bother us. There is no parking at the hotel, but a council car park is within 5-10 mins walk. Its, £7 per day, £3 on Sundays or £1.10/hour until 5pm when it becomes free. You can top-up by an app if it is left there more than one day. Be careful at the basement when exiting the car park - a sharp turn, the road drops sharply so you have no sight of the kerbs and its very narrow!) The room was very clean with plenty of space, a big shower and decent (mainly quiet) air conditioning. Having a sofa bed was useful, for a family stay. I also noticed a good adjustable office-type chair at the desk which would be great for business stays. Breakfast was mostly good; the exception being the sausages! Not sausages as I know them! Very strange."
