Affordable and charming accommodation. The bathroom has an open-air section. Located by the Pai River with a wooden bridge that leads to the walking street. Easy access to food and dining options. The staff here takes great care of the guests, especially the manager who is polite and friendly. I forgot my beloved water bottle and when I called to inquire, the manager provided the address of the hotel's courier service. I continued my trip to another destination for almost 10 days, and when I returned home, the package had already arrived. The water bottle was packed perfectly without any damage. I must commend the manager for his thoughtfulness. I hope all the staff at this hotel continue to be happy and maintain this level of excellence. I will definitely come back to stay here again. For those who have never stayed here, I highly recommend it.

I arrived earlier than the check-in time, but they upgraded my reserved room and let me in right away. I could freely drink coffee and tea anywhere in the room. In addition, there was a sturdy chair and a hammock next to the room, where I could relax while swaying and watching the bungalows across the river. There were many chairs and tables where I could sit and enjoy the view of the Pai River. There were beautiful tables that looked like they could be used for a restaurant, but they were not being used much, which was a shame. The air conditioning was also excellent. The bathroom was spacious and designed to prevent insects from entering, so I would recommend it to everyone. I spent most of my time watching the river without doing much sightseeing. Both of the female staff at the front desk were very friendly and made me feel at ease. I would like to stay here again if I go to Pai. Thank you very much.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Canary Guesthouse. When booking, we missed that our room does not have air conditioning so we were initially shocked and considered going to a different hotel. However, after a couple nights, we got used to it. The perfect location, relaxing river, and comfortable lounge area outweighed the lack of AC in the room. I frequently enjoyed the free coffee and hot chocolate they offered as I journaled and read outside by the river. When we decided to stay in Pai for a few extra days, we even extended our booking in the room we were staying in. The staff was friendly and easy to work with when we had to book the extra days. I’d recommend the Canary Guesthouse for people looking for a budget stay just across the river from the busy Pai walking street. That being said, we’d probably try to stay in a room with air conditioning next time!
