“Lovely New Hotel with Great Rooms, But Breakfast Needs Improvement!!!!”
This was our first time trying this hotel as it’s newly opened and designed like a castle. We booked for just one night as it was a short trip. The check-in process was smooth and the reception welcomed us with a sweet smile and friendly attitude. Upon check-in, we were given a token for a lucky draw, which honestly made us quite excited. We booked a Deluxe Twin with Balcony. The room was very comfortable, clean, and equipped with complete basic amenities. It was also spacious and cozy, with a calming lavender scent that created a fresh and relaxing atmosphere. However, the only part that was a bit disappointing was the breakfast. We didn’t expect a full 5-star buffet, but for breakfast, there should at least be some basic items like nasi lemak, fried noodles, omelette, etc. During our breakfast, we were served aromatic rice, black pepper chicken, samosas, and nasi lemak condiments — which honestly didn’t match a typical breakfast menu. The fried eggs were pre-cooked and placed in an insert, and honestly, who would enjoy eating cold fried eggs? Luckily, there were other options such as porridge, cereals, and noodle soup. Considering the rate was over RM400++ per night, it’s not about the money, but the value should match the price paid. As guests, we felt like the good impression at the start unfortunately ended with a less satisfying note. Hopefully, the management will look into this for future improvement.
