“If you feel cold at nights, wear your jackets, they don’t have heaters or blankets available. And inform you this is Australia. How rude it’s. still can’t get over what he said. Almost ruined my impre”
We arrived very early in the morning and with 24hrs front reception, we were able to get a shower and put stuff in the storage room, that’s good and thanks to staff Anthony was really kind and helpful. When it comes to the staff with beanie, not so friendly and helpful. It was cold at night, and only one power outlet in the room, so we asked for a power board and a heater or anything, they advised me to put on my jacket and sleep since this is Australia? I just need to suck it up? This is extremely rude. And same thing to the front reception, an older man, he said the similar things, say nos with heater and power board without looking, and waved his shoulder, and a day after , seeing him with a fan heater at the reception desk. (Funnily story is when I asked him the second time, with another guy probably running the place present, he opened the cabinet pretending doing the search before saying no to me when I asked for the power board). Good thing is the guy came to the courtyard and handed me one workable power board the second day and at the third time I asked. This place is budget friendly, so you will share the room with backpackers and working holiday makers, and FIFOs. The security is okay, with cameras installed. Kitchen area is good, with staff cleaning, and didn’t see much of oily plates.
