“It became the best birthday trip!”
We stayed at a hotel for her birthday trip. We rented a car from Mishima and headed there after sightseeing at Joren Falls along the way. The roads were not congested, and it felt great driving along the West Izu Skyline. We got a little lost when we arrived in Toi, but when we finally reached the front of the ryokan, several staff members came outside to welcome us. I felt very welcomed and was really happy. After check-in, they kindly and carefully guided us to our room, where delicious Japanese sweets and tea were prepared, recharging my depleted energy after driving. We thoroughly enjoyed the subsequent meals and hot springs, and she was delighted that it turned out to be the best birthday ever. This was my first time experiencing such hospitality at a ryokan. Thank you very much. I would like to visit again regularly.
