Could be better for the price”
Better call it homestay. The hotel locates next to the lake, far away from everything. There were a few parking lots. However, the owners try their best to keep everything clean. The wash basin was clogged and bathroom smells weird. The hotel also provided shampoo and showrt cream but there were no hair dryer. The room wall was quite thin, you can even hear normal volume conversation from the hotel lobby. No breakfast provided though.

Very Very bad experience. Location very outskirts, from Phatthalung town to resort need 48km! Actually location near Songkla. Only 2 old couple, don't understand English at the resort. And the resort cleanliness also very bad. Cockroach come out, and a lot lizard droppings

Nice homestay at Pak Phayun”
Great place to stay and relax at Pak Phayun. Although no breakfast provided, the owner is kind enough to offer us hot beverages to start your day. Good views and good security here for your bike or car. There's a 7-11 and Tesco Lotus Express at the town of Pak Phayun which is also beside a morning and evening market. Basically this place is a Muslim town so no alcohol or pork is on sale.

Infront of lake. Lovely view. Near Pak Phayun town. 5 min drive. Halal food easy to get in Pak Phayun town area. 1 hour 25 minute from hotel to Thale Noi. 1 hour 10 minute to Hatyai city.

Clean, friendly guesthouse with superb night view”
reaching there is a pain, location is unclear and we Hv to search help from local authority. But we were very glad staying there, superb night scenery...not much activities around, I wonder if there' boat trip available but our stay is jz too short for that...

The room and toilet was super clean, lake just opposite the resort very nice and quiet environment, town is about 5 to 10 minuets walk or 3 minuets drive.

Our stay was great, we booked the room with joining kids room. Everything was new and good quality. The location is great, right on the edge of the inland sea. It's located in a nice quiet Thai town was some great, cheap Thai food not far away. A great place to get away.

a good stopover if you are travelling and need a rest for the nite”
a BnB type accommodation without breakfast ;-) House owner and the helper doesn't speak english so google translate helps - there is WIFI at the premises. If you have time , the owner can organise a boat ride for Baht 3000 to explore the lake, There is a small jetty in front of the hotel (house) for the boat to pick up. Thale Noi, the lotus lake is 1.5hrs drive north from the premise. There is a wet market (next to a 7-11) , 30mins walk from the 'hotel' .. must try the braised duck there ( sold at a small stall at the south end of the market).

Homestay style”
We had stayed here before and thoroughly enjoyed it, but thisัtime around felt we had booked a 5th rate homestayt. The welcome was absent, replaced with a fairly obstreperous demand to know what kind of room we had booked. Things went downhill from there, and at no time were we made to feel we were welcome guests as per our previous visit. Rather there was the distinct impression that we were invading the private space of the family, with the father watching our every move and what staff were there typically standing, waiting until we had gotten out of their way. Certainly we were nevertreated with any sort of unpleasantness, but the former sense that they were pled o have us stay was entirely absent, not u entirely explained that the weekend a singularly busy one for them with rthe cycling event in town.
