Value for Money & Nice Staff & Nice Hotel ”

A very well maintained hotel although it's already operating in business about more than 20 years. Is a very clean hotel and the staffs are friendly. Worth for money. Definitely will come back again if happen I visit Ipoh during my next trip. Keep up the good work, Fair Park Hotel.

good location and ckean hotel”

I was in Ipoh for my daughter's tennis tourbament. The hotel is just the hotelright hotel to serve my purposes. It is very near the Ipoh sport complex even its walking distance from the tennis court. Hotel room was big for the price and really clean. Wifi available from the room. The only ones need to improve is the breakfast which was very limited option. Car park is available.

wonderful staff & affordable room”

went for a short stop during pkpb & the staff was very helpful. the room is clean, spacious for a standard room & they even changed the old styled television to a flat screen. although the carpet looks kinda worn out, it’s not a problem for me. they even provide ample parking space at the back of the hotel which is right in-front of the hotel lift & another covered & open parking space opposite of the hotel which is just a stone’s throw away. the location of the hotel is very strategic & there’s even a speedmart at the back of the hotel, which is very easy to access by using the hotel’s lift to the ground floor. overall m, it was a pleasant stay !

Breakfast choices become lesser”

I used to stay in Fair Park when I travel to Ipoh for business trip. It included breakfast which is the main point I choose this hotel. However, the choices of food become lesser and a bit disappointed me. I will change to other hotel for next trip.

Worth it for the value”

I have been a regular at Fairpark. The hotel is located nearby restaurants and is closeby to Ipoh City. The staff are friendly and warm. Initially I was not happy with the room given but the staff was kind enough to change the room for me. However, maintainence could be a bit better. Pillows are too thin, need about 2 for a comfortable sleep (extra pillow has an extra charge). The mattresses are a bit old, you could feel and hear the springs making a bit of noise. But on a whole, Fairpark hotel is a comfortable hotel. Suitable if you're looking for a basic hotel to sleep with a clean bathroom.

Value and Simplicity ”

Fair Park Hotel provides great value for money. The front desk staff were polite and accommodating. We stayed in a standard room for one night. The room was just right for our needs - simple and inexpensive. However, our room was located near the generator/motor area. We could hardly get our goodnight sleep because of the sound of the motor. We didn't request to change our room because we're so tired. After sometime, we get used to it and we were able to sleep. I hope they could do something about the noise of their generator/motor.

Good hotel, sufficient parking space”

Good hotel located just slightly from central Ipoh town. Having own car/transport would be necessary from this hotel, but there are sufficient parking spaces for vehicles there. Good well-trained staff, clean room and with reasonable price.

Travelling with only one other person can be a bit daunting however the staff at the Fair Park Hotel were very helpful and made our stay very comfortable. The hotel was very clean and tidy with a modern decore.

Room suitable for family staying”

The hotel location is good, near city center and close to attractions. Car parking is convenient and free. The lobby is quite hot as the air-con is under maintenance. The Quad Room is quite spacious and cosy, the beds are comfortable, 8 pcs pillows are provided, suitable for family staying. However, the room furnishings is old, one of the wall lights can't on. The drainpipe of washbasin in toilet is . The water of rain shower is quite strong.

Clean and Comfy Hotel”

Only stayed for a day in Malaysia Festive Season. I stayed in the Junior suite which is very comfy and clean. There is lack of parking, but the receptionist said that there are security to check the car parked around the hotel with the receipt placed on the dashboard.

Strategic location, budget hotel”

Hotel strategically located and near to city area but it one way and need U-turn back to reach hotel from city area. We stay at old building, room is clean but with no carpet coverage make us feel uncomfortable, suggested have slipper for guests or carpet covered. Room with no hair dryer and freezer and cause problem to us. Car parks limited and make us need park roadside at our own risk. Besides that check-in and check- out process can be expedited. Check out need checked room by rooms I understand but check in also wasted almost 20mins+ make us not understand this at all.

simple nice stop over hotel”

Easy to reach if you have a car. You need a GPS to guide you to find this place. Breakfast included was simple and we passed on it. Went out to eat beter Ipoh food instead. Water jug and mini-bar provided. Some standard room doesn't have mini-bar. Good for a stop-over reststop.

Lovely hotel with great service”

We arrived late since we bought the deal very last minute. We booked for a standard room as we were desperate to find a place to sleep. As we were 5 persons, the staff give us a deluxe room at standard price!

Not recommend for Travellers with young children”

The room given is very old, with the price given, we may get a better hotel in Ipoh. But the location is good, around 5 minutes driving distance to Ipoh town.

2 Star Hotel with great service”

the hotel is located in a very easy to find locus. however,it is lacking of parking lots. about the room,it is ok and comfortable with equipped with air-cond, tv with astro, cupboard, kettle, and additional lock behind the room door, but the original door lock can't functioning well. the faucet in the bathroom is installed with hot water but hardly to adjust the temperature and the water flow is very slow, especially when brush the teeth. i am a non smoker and i had choking experience inside the room with closed window where the room is still smelly with the cigarette smoke. i think hotel should do some odor cleaning using tio2. about the bed, it is ok, not too hard nor too soft. excellent queen size bed. however, the air conditioner should not face to the bed. last but not least the breakfast provided is really terrible. too salty and make me less appetite. but overall, it's a great experience in ipoh.

1. Location is great - lots of eating options within walking distance. 2. Near to Ipoh City - 3.5km to the popular eating places. 3. The room is clean and the shower is working.
