"Stayed here a few days while seeing nearby parks. Room is fairly basic but once in the bed I didn’t want to leave. One of the best beds in a hotel ever, I had to rip the cover off to check the brand because I want to buy one. Close to restaraunts and bars plus night market. Could do with more light and a kettle but is clean and everything works. Didn’t try wifi or breakfast. Plenty of parking, quiet, lots of power outlets and friendly staff. "

"Hostel implies lower quality, and this is a hotel (you can buy cheaper rooms at the back, but it's still a hotel). We didn't notice the name change from Hotel to Hostel. We actually were the first guests ever to stay in this hotel back when it opened, and since then we usually stay here when we are overnight in PL. We did not get the best service when checking in this time, and were offered a cheaper room due to the fact that one of us is Thai, which I personally feel was not very polite. Just being Thai does not mean you can't afford to buy a good room or would not be willing to. The best reasons to stay here are that it's a good enough quality and close to the bus station at a reasonable price. It's not the best in the area, and it's a long way from the worst. We like this hotel, and just one slightly bad experience won't change that."
