You can enjoy a pleasant walk on the streets of Gion at night, and most importantly, there is a Starbucks on the first floor, which is very convenient. When I made the reservation, I had booked a non-smoking single room, but they kindly changed it to a smoking twin bed room without any additional charge. I was very grateful for that. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Kiyomizu-dera, so I would like to stay at this hotel again on my next trip.

I chose this hotel because it was close to the memorial service at Chion-in. It's really a great deal to book on Agoda compared to other sites, even though it's in the center of Kyoto! I was prepared for the small size of the 14m2 room, but it was very compact and more spacious than I expected, so I was able to spend a comfortable time. Since it was on the second floor, the window was covered with white glass and I couldn't see outside (I wanted to see the sky because it was an unstable weather day), and it was a bit inconvenient that I couldn't ventilate the room, but I have no complaints because it was a good value for money. I also thought it was kind of them to announce 10 minutes before check-in on the monitor. I would like to use it again next year!

I love the location and it’s clean. Went to Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka and booked Apa Hotel and was satisfied, great value for money. Most importantly, it’s clean. Went there during Christmas and the room heater works well. And the thing I noticed is, the staff are always amazing, they’re helpful and friendly. Thank you for making our stay in Japan comfortable
