Beautiful Hotel”
I think this may be the prettiest, traditional style hotel in Bangkok. The grounds are full of gardens, statues, altars and lotus ponds. There is a canal that runs through with bridges and "lucky" catfish feeding stations. The breakfast is a multi-national, all-you-can-eat buffet featuring a crepe/waffle station, freshly squeezed fruit juices, a Halal station, Indian, English, and Thai cuisine which was all delicious. The staff were so kind and helpful. There is an Elephant Parade shop in the lobby where you can buy beautifully painted elephant statues and a portion of the proceeds go to elephant conservation (Elephant Parade is on social media if you want to see their mission). I bought 5 of these elephants and I would have bought more if my husband hadn't had anything to do with it. We also had a 90 minute couples massage at the spa and we felt so pampered after a foot bath and some tea. The property is right next to a mall that had at least 3 levels and a 24 hour 7-11 and Burger King (perfect for when you're up at 3 am with jet lag and starving). Very safe, very clean, many families from all over the world. A lovely experience.

A serene getaway in the city”
We love going to the Ananantara Riverside for a couple's staycation as its only 15 mi6grom where we live, but feels like you're really in holiday. The grounds are well maintained and make great use of the riverside location. We LOVE the deep pool and swim up bar, they really add to the holiday vibe. The food is top quality as you would expect. The rooms are perhaps a little dark, but clean and comfortable. The staff are attentive and friendly without being over the top. We'll be back for sure.

Amazing hotel in Bangkok”
We absolutely loved this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are spacious and well-appointed. The staff was always ready to help - even organizing a private canal longboat trip that was well worth the time & cost. Breakfast was AMAZING - be sure to have that included in your package. It was a feast! They also have a free water shuttle that was a really nice way to get to other parts of Bangkok. Could not have been more pleased with our stay.

Excellent escape in the city of Bangkok”
Lovely location at the river, free shuttle boat to Taksin Bridge and Iconsiam. Abundant breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Forgotten item in the room was retrieved, stored and handed over efficiently after check-out. Nice room. No late check-out possible. Toilet in the pool area lacked cleanliness - but that seemed to be an exemption as the other facilities were very clean. Very recommendable!

No better ASQ Hotel in Bangkok”
Treat yourself during quarantine with very comfortable surroundings. The staff will make your stay ever so pleasant. Wonderful food, comfortable beds, good a/c, good wifi, in-room refrigerator and amenities, balcony with a lovely view of the Chao Praya and very particular attention to high standards of cleanliness. All of this adds up to a vacation in my view. We are loving the Anantara Riverside in Bangkok.

Anantara Riverside for me the best hotel for couples in Bangkok”
I was already several times with my wife in Anantara Riverside Hotel. It was and it is still the best hotel in Bangkok. The warm heart welcoming gives the guests already a good feeling.Everything was prepared and we got our booked room. The rooms got already a little bit old but they a still good comfortable and clean. The breakfast is amazing.I was in many hotels all over the world but never found a better one. The kindness of the employees let’s us feel home.The hotel is like a green oasis in the city. The only thing which was missing was the woman in Thai dress for welcoming the guests.But there is still one friendly man in Thai costume welcoming the guests.. We will come back for sure again to Anantara

My family and I had an amazing time at the Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort. The site was full of character, with great view over the river. Staff were friendly and very helpful when required. As many have already commented, the breakfast spread was amazing - one of the best I have had. Would certainly recommend this hotel/resort to the rest of my family and friends.

Excellent buffet breakfast with so many selections. The staff is so friendly, helpful and always smiling. I think it is worth every penny spent and I really like their ferry boat service. Such a great way to relax while going to the nearest BTS station.

Riverfront deluxe room was spectacular. Very well appointed. Breakfast spread was satisfactory. Most importantly, the staff made the stay special. Staff from the front desk, at Trader Vic’s and in and around the property were super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Will definitely come back to stay again.

If I told you all of what I love about this hotel it would sound like an advert for the brand. The fact is, I have lived in Bangkok for 14 years, own a business and escape to this hotel with my wife whenever possible. I feel it is the best hotel experience on the river in Bangkok.
