WHAT A PLACE. Right from the check-in till the moment we left, we absolutely loved Ambassador. The staff were SO friendly, and we're so happy about the central location, and how comfortable this hotel is, and how generous the breakfast buffet was, that we rate this the best hotel we stayed at on this trip. One funny thing though, our view was a wall. We were hardly in our room and only came in to sleep, so that's okay, but we found it really funny. Hope they give us a better view next time! We will DEFINITELY stay here the next time we visit. And we saw tons of other nationalities live here too, so it's clearly very popular. :)

Stayed here for 5 days. Exceeded my expectations.Will be returning for 9 days again in the near future. Rooms are outdated but I expected that for the price. First room was very noisy but staff gladly moved me and even offered to help. The hookers out front did not bother me but might be a concern for some folks. Actually I found the taxi drivers much more annoying. Room was clean and housekeeping was responsive to my requests. Based on the reviews I was concerned about a long check in. Check in took 10 minutes . I loved the breakfast as it allowed me to sample a variety of Thai food. Location of property is fantastic. If you are looking for luxury and fancy for the price just forget about it. I used the room for sleeping only and it served its purpose. Clean ,great location and helpful staff All I needed.

Travelled to Thailand to train Muay Thai for two weeks. I chose this hotel over others I researched. Facilities were good — swimming pool, weights gym — room was clean and AC kept everything cool. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. I didn’t try the breakfast as the are endless food options in Sukhumvit. For a 4* hotel, this was very good. Would recommend.

Love this hotel. Vast, old style hotel with many nooks and crannies. Recommend superior rooms in Tower Wing over the older standard rooms. Leisure facilities include gym, decent sized pool, steam room, squash court, panel court, boxing ring. A trainer / knocker can be hired for a reasonable fee if you need a squash partner. Plenty of great food options in neighbourhood. Breakfast good variety including South Asian options. Lively, yet homely feel to hotel.

I had an issue with my air con, they moved me immediately, location is good restaurants, bars , 7/11 right out front , walking distance to nana plaza and soi cowboy, concierge services coordinate airport transfers, I’ll be back for sure!!!

Great stay, found a seafood restaurant opposite the hotel, it worth with kids. Much cheaper than Pattaya to be honest. Although we had a late check-in thankfully the rooms are side by side. And the app didn't say anything about room deposit which is 1000baht for a room. So just make sure you have it in cash and don't misplace the receipt which the staff will return it to you when you check out

Ambassador Hotel is strategically located with access to the MRT and BTS which can take you anywhere in the city. There are so many restaurants in this area and the night life is available for those who like to party it up. I would stay here again.

Located in the prime location of Sukhumvit 11 with most of the well known bars and malls within reasonable distance,its a very well located hotel . The rooms are fine , had stayed twice here and Tower wing rooms are nicer than the main wing rooms ( older). Tower wing rooms are very nice and have huge glass windows which have a great view of the Bkk skyline . Staff is quite nice too and helpful. I wil definitely stay here during my next visit to Bkk and tower wing would be my choice . Book a tower wing room and go check out the main wing room and you will see the difference. The tower wing room was better than that by size and amenities than that of some higher end hotel that I had stayed that was more than 3times the price . Definitely worth it .

I'd read various reviews some complimentary others not so. Didn't really know what to expect. However my wife and I enjoyed four very pleasant nights at the Ambassador. All of the staff were pleasant helpful and polite. Although the hotel is a little dated cleanliness throughout isn't an issue. Breakfast was varied between western and more middle Eastern Asian recipes. As someone who enjoys various cuisine this was great. No negatives. Would personally stay there again and would recommend to others.

I always stay at the ambassador on sukhumvit 11, it's clean, the staff is very friendly the room are very big, 377 sqft. It's location is perfect and the breakfast is very good. Remember to tip the food service folks and the maid. Give the maid 100 baht every 2 days and leave 40 baht Asa tip for the good breakfast. Remember that the pandemic was very hard on these folks so please keep this in mind now that things are moving back to normal.

A lot of Indian travelers that think rules don’t apply to them so the don’t bother wearing mask etc etc hotel should maybe challenge them more on this for the safety of others. The Ambassador hotel, Bangkok located at Sukhumvit, Soi 11, close to Nana Sky Train station and all amenities. The hotel is also located steps away from amazing eateries, shops and big malls. During our recent visit, we stayed at Tower Wing, 5th floor. with nice view, large room with all modern facilities. Good Wifi and hose keeping service. Reception staff are helpful. It was an excellent stay - we will return again like always. highly recommended to all of us!

I enjoyed the gentle and excellent service at Ambassador Hotel Bangkok, from my experience of the checkin desk to the concierge service and cafe/restaurant staff. A pool, yoga centre and spacious areas made it a pleasant place to rest up and enjoy a variety of shopping centres, easily accessed by an affordable city transport service. Nearby are many services and cafes/restaurants, one of which is Chez LN, a recently opened French cuisine with onsite chef Helène.

Once you are checked into the Ambassador it is a Great,hotel, but checling in and out you are in very long Ques, because most of the time there are only 2 people on staff. They should considrr 6 people at least during this 3 or 4hr period .Otherwise the hotel and facitities service etc is great.

It was good on my budget. One thing I want to get it improved is that the bathroom and bed were not very clean. I saw some of hairs on the bed and bathroom and someone's things in a toilet bowl. Also even though the check out time was 12 pm, a cleaner came and knocked on my door at 10.45 am and he said 'check out time.' I said the check out time was 12pm so I will leave around the time. He said 'ok, now 11 am. One hour later.' I felt uncomfortable to stay more! Apart from these things, with the price, the breakfast was very nice and staff at the front desk were very kind. I recommend this hotel!
