When we arrived, there was scaffolding due to exterior wall work, so the appearance was different from the image I had imagined. The interior was clean with decor that felt British. There were many shops along the road from South Kensington Station to the hotel, so I could walk back at night without feeling anxious. It was also convenient to have a Waitrose supermarket nearby. I was torn between hotels around Victoria Station and this one, but I was glad I chose South Kensington because the atmosphere of the area was nice. Also, I realized that there was a bus stop about a minute's walk away, which was great for returning from Harrods. The staff were friendly and attended to us with smiles, which was reassuring, and the breakfast had a wide variety of breads, which was enjoyable. However, the shower in the room had a bit of weak pressure, and the TV would suddenly turn off or the volume would change on its own. Nevertheless, they cleaned the room beautifully every day, and I was able to stay comfortably.
